IP & Code Ownership

Ownership rights for design, code, assets, and deployment.

01

Default Ownership

  • -Before full payment, all work remains Synor property.
  • -After full payment, client gets rights to approved final deliverables as per agreement.
  • -Synor retains rights to reusable frameworks, utilities, and internal processes.

02

Code Ownership & Source Code Rights

By default, Synor delivers a fully functional, live website to every client — hosted, working, and ready to use. Source code ownership is a separate matter.

Standard Delivery (No Extra Charge): Every client receives a fully running, deployed website. You can use it, run your business on it, and update content. However, the underlying source code, codebase, and all technical files remain the intellectual property of Synor.

Full Code Ownership — ₹5,000 Add-On: If you wish to own the complete source code outright — including all files, folders, and documentation — you may purchase full code ownership for a one-time fee of ₹5,000. Upon payment, all source files will be transferred to you with no restrictions.

If Not Discussed in Agreement: If code ownership is not explicitly mentioned or negotiated in your project agreement, it does not automatically transfer to the client. However, Synor makes it simple — the client can claim full code ownership at any point (before or after project delivery) by paying the flat ₹5,000 fee. No complicated negotiations, no hidden conditions.

  • -Working website — included for every client, always
  • -₹5,000 — full source code ownership, anytime you want it
  • -Not paid → code stays with Synor, website still runs perfectly fine for you

Credit Link and White Label

  • -A subtle footer credit may be included unless white-label buyout is agreed in writing.
  • -Unauthorized credit removal may be treated as contract breach.
